Das Monoquoque Chassis ist identisch mit dem etwas besser ausgestatteten <a title=\"Tamiya Frog \u2013 1. Generation\" href=\"https:\/\/www.funktionsmodellbau.ch\/content\/?p=467\">Tamiya Frog<\/a>. Der Frog hatte schon ein Differenzial ab Werk und sah aus wie ein Buggy aus. Tamiya hat in den Jahren 2007\/2008 diesen Subaru Brat in einer Neuauflage wieder produziert. Der hier vorgestellte Subaru Brat stammt aber aus der\u00a01. Generation und wurde mit Originalteilen restauriert. Er entspricht der Baukastenversion und ist nicht modifiziert. Bis auf die vorderen R\u00e4der. Im Originalzustand ist er mit schmalen Reifen ausgestattet.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Durch ein Missgeschick kam nach der 1. Restaurierung Aceton auf das Heck der Karrossiere und zerfrass diese ziemlich heftig. Nach viel spachteln, schleifen und lackieren konnte ich ihn ein 2. Mal restaurieren. Dabei habe ich versucht mehr Details zu bemalen. Die Br\u00fccke konnte ich nur mit einem Tr\u00e4nenblechimitat (Riffelblech) retten.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.funktionsmodellbau.ch\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/800-subi-red-523.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5879\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.funktionsmodellbau.ch\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/800-subi-red-523.jpg\" alt=\"Subaru Brat red\" width=\"620\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"text\">\n<p>Zu Spitzenzeiten hatte ich etwa 5 Subaru&#8217;s. Diese\u00a0waren mit\u00a0Differenzialen, Kugellagern, Stossd\u00e4mpfern, Heckstabilisatoren etc. \u00a0modifiziert. Die Tuningsteile waren z.T. von Parma. Meine Subarus entsprachen also eher einem voll ausgebauten Frog.<\/p>\n<p>Durch diese Modizfikationen\u00a0und zus\u00e4tzlichen\u00a0schnelleren Motoren, waren die Modelle extrem schnell und hatten ein geniales und sch\u00f6nes Fahrverhalten. Sicher mit ein Grund, warum der Subaru-Brat eines meiner Lieblingsmodelle wurde.
